Full 2 inch thick cement reinforced counter top finished with multiple coats of hard wax gives the top an amazingly smooth surface that can be used for any kitchen activity. The clean design of the base gives the island a simple contemporary Scandinavian feel. The finish is hand sanded with a clear polyurethane coating with multiple final coats of wax to give a subtle appearance, enhancing the wood's natural grain pattern. Add in the additional features of stainless hooks, black iron towel rack, and lower storage shelf to complete the functionality of the island.
