Using reclaimed lumber from a friends cottage that was taken down to make way for a larger more modern cottage gave us the chance to design and build something unique that gave re-purpose  for the Michigan White Pine used in the cottage.  Combining elements of the reclaimed wood, black epoxy, clear epoxy deep overcoat and powder coated steel gave this desk a rustic but contemporary feeling.
